Narita Lifetime Orders
Writer: Ethan| Reason: Grooming Service | Date: 12.04.21
My last grooming service for today was for Icewatcher's horse Narita. The friendly mare greeted me enthusiastically and I took her on with me to the grooming area. It was still warm outside so I decided to do stay outside. She was calm while I brushed her, and even when I put the water on she didn't mind getting wet. During the shower I let her drink from the hose which she enjoyed. Her coat was pretty dirty but I got everything out nicely. After washing I pulled the water from her coat before putting her under the solarium to dry up completely. Meanwhile, I started on her stall and mucked it, wondering if just one or more horses lived here. After also cleaning her water and food bowl I refilled them. Happy with my work I moved back to Narita who was now dry. I put some oil on her hooves to make sure they stayed healthy and checked her for injuries. None were present

First horse for the day is Narita. I have to say that she is one stunning fjord horse. I started with a basic exam. Her overall health is good. She seems too be allergic to insects, so i recommend that she get started on some insect bite sensitive cream. Then i started on her dental care. She had sharp edges on some of her teeth, but not a lot. She was gentle, and didn´t resist at all.Everything else looked good. She har started loosing her baby teeth, but still has some left. Looking at her teeth i would say she is about 3,5 years old. The last thing we did was giving her a vaccine. She will be needing a new shot in about three months.

My route at the start of my day took me to Narita, a mare with the need for a farrier. She was already placed in a box for me to work on her and so I did. She was amazing and let me check all her feet. They looked great and well kept. Just a small trim was needed, compliments to the owner. Narita was done pretty quick and she could return to the pasture.
